Ron Rash was born in Reno, NV circa 1972. Raised in the high desert valley on a steady diet of punk rock and skateboarding, Ron was influenced at an early age by graphic art and illustration. Ron followed his own artistic path, pursuing a bohemian life filled with art. Moving from Reno in 1991 Ron spent his days drawing in cafes in cities like San Diego, NYC, and eventually settling in Oakland, CA. By the late 90′s Ron had designed skateboard graphics, had illustrations published in magazines, and had several art shows.

In 2003 he moved back to Reno to raise his new family and focus on his painting. It wasn’t long before he reconnected with childhood friends Jared Isenberg, RobRoy, and Kevin cox who had all been tattooing at their shop, Aces, since it opened in 1995. Today, Ron is extremely grateful for the opportunity and to be working with such great guys at the world famous, Aces Tattoo.
